SCHOOL GUIDELINES

CONDUCT AND DISCIPLINARY RULES

PUNCTUALITY:

1. The pupil should be in the school campus by 8.55 a.m.

2. Late coming will not be permitted.

3. In case of unavoidable late coming, explanation should be given before entering the class. It will be entered in the Late Attendance Record. Parents’ signature should be obtained and the Class teacher’s counter sign on the following day.

4. For habitual late coming parents should meet the class teacher concerned.

5. Pupil must return home without delay after the School closes for the day.

REGULARITY:

1. Pupils must be regular to school.

 

2. A Pupil who takes leave for three or more than three successive days must submit Medical Certificate to the Class Teacher.

 

3. Application for a longer period of leave or absence should be made by Parents/Guardian on behalf of the Students to the Headmistress through the Class Teacher.

 

4. A Pupil who fails to have an attendance of at least 80% in each term will not be entitled for promotion. Students of IX, X, XI & XII must put in 80% in each term and not less than 150 days in a year.

GOOD MANNERS:

1. Pupils should seek permission before entering the H.M’s Room, Office or Staff room.

2. When a Teacher enters the Class room, the Pupils should rise, wish and remain standing till they are advised to sit or till the Teacher takes her seat.

3. Pupils should greet the Teacher every time they meet them.

4. Pupil must always stand at ease while talking to teacher and elders.

PRACTICES TO BE AVOIDED:

1. Pupils should not leave the school campus without the permission of the Headmistress.

2. Pupils are prohibited from purchasing eatables from hawkers.

3. Pupils should avoid wearing gold ornaments to school.

4. Pupils should not attend the school if suffering from contagious or infectious diseases.

5. Pupils should not loiter in school premises during working hours.

6. Pupils should not munch chewing gum or eat sweets in the classroom.

7. Pupils should not bring any objectionable literature and cell phones to the school.

SILENCE:

1. Pupils must observe silence during prayer, class hours and all school functions.

2. Pupils marching from one class to other class should do so in perfect silence and proper order.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR THE STUDENTS

TAKE CARE

1. Pupils must take care of furniture and other school properties.

2. Fans and lights should be off when not required.

3. Damage done to the school building, Library Books, Sports items, Lab apparatus, etc., must be repaired or replaced by the pupils or it will be the collective responsibility of the class concerned.

4. Pupils should not indulge in malpractice, acts of indiscipline or misbehavior.

5. Pupils should not adopt unfair means during tests & examinations.

6. Pupils should not tamper with the Progress Report.

7. Pupils should not tamper the pages of the Notebooks.

8. No pupil should disturb other classes at work on plea of borrowing a pen, a book, etc.,

ROAD SAFETY RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. Where there is a pavement or foot path, use it.

2. On a pavement or foot path do not walk next to the Kerb with your back to the traffic.

3. Where there is no foot path, walk on the left side of the road facing the oncoming traffic.

4. Before you cross the road, stop at the kerb, look right, left and right again. Do not cross until the road is clear.

5. Do not cross unless you have a clear view of the road bothways. Take extra care near stationary vehicles or other obstructions and whenever your view is limited.

6. Where there is pedestrian crossing, refuge, foot bridge or subway, use it.

7. Learn the automatic signals for vehicles
Red Light : You must stop
Green Light : You may go
Amber : Wait for the red or green.

8. Follow your traffic policemen signals for crossing the road safely.

9. If A police officer is in charge, watch for his signal and do not cross until he holds up the traffic.

10. Never loiter in the roadway.

11. Do not use mobile while crossing the road or while driving.
